Sometimes the modules we find on Drupal.org are exactly what we need to build our sites, but sometimes they aren't quite there yet. One of the hurdles in learning the Drupal ecosystem is how to work with patches in the issue queue.
In this session we'll take a look at:
- how community members submit patches to an issue queue
- how to apply patches for your own site
- how to submit patches yourself
- how to manage patches that you've applied
The session will be focused on the beginner to intermediate site builder or developer. I will not assume familiarity with Drush, but I will mention it and show how to use some of its features.
