Web page layout can been achieved via nested divs, HTML tables, CSS tables, floats, and positioning. The CSS Flexible Box Layout (flexbox) Module provides an alternative with significantadvantages over older methods.

This talk covers:

  • Demo of most of the of the flexbox properties and possible values.
  • Use these to build a standard grid system such as offered by 960, bootstrap, etc.
  • Use of our grid system to achieve a three column "Holy Grail" page layout.
